Raleigh, N.C. –The Rotary Club of North Raleigh proudly helped sponsor LaunchRALEIGH’s first virtual Pitch Competition. Entrepreneurs from the December 2020 graduating class of 15 entrepreneurs pitched their business plans and the top five competed on February 2nd.

Judges Joe Battle with Carolina Community Impact, LaunchRALEIGH graduate Angie Arrington, and Noah Otto from the City of Raleigh heard five minute pitches and selected the top prize winners. 

Jennifer Murphy placed first with her plan to expand Weddings Made To Order to help couples get professional wedding planning services while saving money.

Tiffany Cogdell placed second with her plans for That Makes Cent$, a financial education and coaching company empowering clients to establish goals and reach financial success.

The three other entrepreneurs tied for third place.

Yoki Feliz founder of The Heights Dominican Kitchen serves authentic and traditional Dominican flavors from a food truck.

DeLonna Brown of A Peace of Mind Family Counseling PLLC offers mental health services by providing on location sessions though a mobile therapy office.

Camille Jones of Forever Events helps people create special events like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and baby showers.
