Grant Sainsbury gave the club a presentation about how his company, Dimension Data, has revolutionized the viewing experience of the Tour de France. Dimension Data formed a partnership with ASO, the owner of the Tour de France, to process live data for analysis and consumption by Tour fans and commentators. They also have their own Tour website and mobile app that allows fans to track the race in ways they want to. For example, fans can filter the data displays to show the status of riders on their favorite team or from their home country.
