A big part of the Rotary Club of North Raleigh’s membership strategy is to increase the options available for new members to attend meetings and take part in the Club’s activities. From that strategy, the club has begun an evening meeting option.

The new club meeting, which will take place weekly on Thursdays at 6:30, met for the first time on Thursday July 14th. The first meeting was an information meeting for interested members and prospective members. The meeting was attended by District Governor Elect Shafi Parekh, prospective member Katie Turnbull, and current members Richard Gantt, Mark Duerst, Scott Tarkenton and Mike Wienold. The meeting was held at Richard Gantt’s office. Mike Wienold ran through a slide presentation describing the purpose and format of the meetings. See the presentation below:
