Data Technologies at the Tour de France

Grant Sainsbury gave the club a presentation about how his company, Dimension Data, has revolutionized the viewing experience of the Tour de France. Dimension Data formed a partnership with ASO, the owner of the Tour de France, to process live data for analysis and consumption by Tour fans and commentators. They also have their own Tour website and mobile app that allows fans to track the race in ways they want to. May is Youth Service Month on the Rotary calendar. The Rotary Club of North Raleigh celebrated Youth Service on Wednesday by hosting a Youth Services Assembly, showcasing our 2016 youth programs. Jason Potts, RCNR Youth Services Director, thanked the members who have chaired the programs this year and introduced local youth who have benefited from them.
