Another Great Week to be a Rotarian!

The North Raleigh Rotary club welcomed yet another new member this week when we introduced Matt Towler to the group. Growing is always an important aspect of the club and the addition of Matt is no different. We are thrilled to have him aboard. Here we Grow Again!

At this week’s meeting we inducted a new member, Matt Johnson and he makes the third new member we have added this year with two more waiting over the next couple of weeks. This is great for the club and great for its future. October is Foundation month and with it comes a focus on our efforts globally to ‘do good’ in the world. Pakistan’s Polio Campaign!

We are pleased to announce that PBS has aired a segment on polio in Pakistan. The story includes the voices of health workers, religious leaders, and Rotary Pakistan, including our National PolioPlus Chair Aziz Memon. Throughout the segment, viewers can see multiple Rotary visuals, including our End Polio Now logo. PBS first aired the segment over the weekend on its Religion & Ethics Newsweekly program.
